12-Month Limited Warranty

Willow & Spoon stands behind the craftsmanship of our natural olive-wood products. This Limited Warranty gives you specific rights and remedies, and is the only warranty we offer for our products.

1. What This Warranty Covers

This Limited Warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.

Covered issues include:

  • Structural defects caused by production
  • Cracks or breaks that occur under normal, intended use
  • Significant flaws in carving, shaping, or assembly
  • Defects that make the product unsafe or unusable

If a covered defect is confirmed, Willow & Spoon will, at our discretion:

  • Replace the item with the same or similar product, or
  • Issue store credit for the original purchase price.

Refunds are not provided under this warranty.

2. What This Warranty Does NOT Cover

Because our products are made from 100% natural olive wood, natural variation is expected and not considered a defect.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Natural color variation, grain differences, or pattern changes
  • Issues caused by dishwasher use
  • Drying, cracking, or warping caused by failure to oil the wood regularly
  • Scratches, dents, or marks from knives or utensils
  • Soaking in water or improper cleaning
  • Heat damage, burns, or contact with open flame
  • Mold, staining, or odors caused by improper care
  • Damage caused by dropping, impact, or misuse
  • Any modification or alteration of the product

If the product was not cared for according to our Care Instructions, the warranty is void.

3. Required Care for Warranty Coverage

To remain eligible for warranty claims, customers must:

  • Hand-wash and dry immediately
  • Never use a dishwasher
  • Oil the wood regularly with food-safe oil
  • Avoid soaking or submerging in water
  • Store in a dry environment
  • Avoid placing near heat sources or direct sunlight

Failure to follow these care steps voids the warranty.

4. Warranty Claim Process

To submit a claim:

1. Email us at contact@willowandspoon.com

2. Include:

  • Full name
  • Order number
  • Date of purchase
  • Description of the issue
  • Photos or video clearly showing the defect

Willow & Spoon may request additional photos or ask that the product be returned for inspection. Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item is found to be defective upon arrival.

5. Warranty Limitations

This Limited Warranty is the exclusive warranty for all Willow & Spoon products. It replaces all other warranties, expressed or implied.

Willow & Spoon is not liable for any:

  • Incidental damages
  • Consequential damages
  • Loss of use
  • Costs arising from improper care, misuse, or non-recommended cleaning

Some states do not allow exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to all customers.

6. Proof of Purchase

A valid receipt or order confirmation is required for any warranty claim. Without proof of purchase, the warranty cannot be honored.

7. Coverage Period

Coverage lasts 12 months from the date of original purchase. Replacement items do not reset or extend the warranty period.

8. Products Purchased From Unauthorized Sellers 

Items purchased from third-party sellers (e.g., eBay, flea markets, unauthorized resellers) are not covered by this warranty.
