Willow & Spoon was born from a simple idea: to bring the warmth, beauty, and honesty of natural materials back into everyday living. In a world flooded with mass-produced home goods, we wanted to create something different, something crafted with intention, shaped by hand, and inspired by nature itself.

Our journey led us to the heart of the Mediterranean — specifically to the craftsmen of Sfax, Tunisia, where olive trees grow slowly and gracefully under the sun and where artisans have been working this wood by hand for generations. These trees, rich with history and character, produce wood unlike any other: dense, beautifully grained, naturally resistant to odors and staining, and wonderfully warm to the touch. Every piece of olive wood we use carries its own story — years of growth, years of weather, years of sunlight locked into swirling golden patterns.

What makes olive wood truly different is what it doesn't need. No coatings. No synthetic finishes. No plastic treatments or chemical sealants. The wood's natural oils do everything — resisting moisture, keeping bacteria at bay, and staying honest to the touch. What you hold in your hand is exactly what it appears to be.
